As Co-Founder and Former Captain of The Spence School’s FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Team, I lead my team to design, build, and program our award-winning robot for the Freight Frenzy Competition. The arm places objects of different shapes, sizes, and weights onto a platform at a desired height. The gripper is made from rubber bands stretched across two toothed pulley wheels to create flexible cylinder. The gripper spins inwards to intake objects and outwards to deliver them.
